Career
Altuğ Özgün is a legal and compliance professional who started his career in private practice before continuing as in-house counsel, becoming Head of Legal & Compliance at various multinational organizations, such as Sandoz and Astellas Pharma. He returned to private practice after more than 15 years as in-house counsel.
His practice focuses on third-party risk management, corporate law, life sciences, investment law, anti-corruption law, employment law, white-collar crime, sanctions, data privacy law, due diligence, compliance, and competition law matters.
He is a board member of the Ethics & Reputation Society, where he is also the lecturer of Turkey’s first and only “Ethics and Compliance Manager Certificate Program”, which is geared towards professionals from the Turkish business community.
Altug writes and speaks often on topics related to compliance, business ethics, and corporate law.
