Career

Juan Manuel Pons joined the Tax Law Department as a partner in February 2019. Previously, he developed his professional career at Deloitte Legal and Ernst & Young Abogados.

Juan Manuel is a lawyer specialized in Tax Law, with special expertise in taxation and the restructuring of groups of national and international companies, in the establishment of policies and in the documentation of transfer pricing, in the taxation of international mobility of people, as well as in advising on tax audit and investigation procedures. Juan Manuel has worked in different sectors, including the financial and insurance sector, manufacturing and distribution.

Throughout his long professional career, Juan Manuel has regularly advised groups of companies, subsidiaries of multinationals established in Spain and start-ups. He has also participated in due diligence processes prior to the sale of business groups.

Juan Manuel teaches courses and seminars at EDEM, APD, Fundación de Estudios Bursátiles y Financieros and Colegio de Economistas, among others.
