Maria has an experience of 9 years in the legal field. Her main area of practice is Data Privacy, being recognised as a profesionel in this field by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, where she passed the CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) examination. Nevertheless, Maria has an experience of almost 2 years as a Data Protection Officer within an important technology company, where she ensured the local GDPR implementation.

During her activity, she managed complex mandates also in other areas of practice, including Employment law, IT&C, Audiovisual, and Consumers’ protection, providing legal assistance to a significant number of national and international companies. The mandates she handled mainly involved contractual and regulatory aspects, as well as ensuring compliance with the Romanian legislation of various international projects.

Maria also provided legal assistance in the field of Public Procurement / PPP and Mergers & Acquisitions, in aspects such as the preparation of tenders and public procurement files, assistance in carrying out the procurement procedures and post-acquisition assistance.
