Mr Miguel Angel Garrido
Miguel Ángel Garrido is a graduate in Economic and Business Sciences, and a graduate in Law and Account Auditing (not currently practising).
He has been a member of the State Higher Body of Financial Inspectors since 1982 and has served in the Ministry of Economy and Treasury’s offices in Alicante and Madrid.
In 1992 he began a period of unpaid leave from the Body and founded the Law Firm Garrido.
He is currently the Managing Director of Garrido, focussing his activity on the management and expansion of the firm.
His teaching activity is a notable feature of his curriculum: he has taught at the University of Alcalá de Henares (Professor of Applied Economics), at the San Pablo-CEU University (Tax and Financial Law) and at the European University (Tax and Financial Law).
He was also a teacher at the Ministry of Economy and Treasury’s School of Public Finances, a teacher at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a teacher on the Master’s course in Tax Consultancy at the San Pablo-CEU University Foundation.

Garrido has an established track record in advising high-net-worth families and businesses in Spain, nonetheless its client base also takes in major domestic companies and multinationals, particularly in the sports, real estate and construction, and security sectors. The tax litigation department, headed by Raúl de Francisco, acts for clients in tax audits and judicial proceedings. Carlos Neira is a key contact for white-collar crime issues. The practice is jointly led by Enrique Benavente, who focuses on cross-border tax matters; Francisco Conde, an expert in corporate tax planning and tax litigation; and firm chairman Miguel Ángel Garrido.
