Ms. Palawi Bunnag, partner at ILCT, boasts over 19 years of solid experience working as a professional and qualified lawyer in Thailand. She is an Independent Director and Chairwoman of the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee of a Thai public-listed company, and a Director and Chairwoman of the Risk and Compliance Committee of a fintech company. Moreover, Ms. Palawi is a guest lecturer at the law faculty of Thammasat University (International Program).

Ms. Palawi specializes in commercial law contracts and corporate laws, with exceptional experience in leading successful high-net-worth M&A project deals, and joint venture projects. She has advised and assisted local and international-recognized clients from various industries (among those, property developers, private equity funds, government entities) in many high-profile and cross-border deals. Her advice is not just limited to legal matters, but it is also corroborated by the business experience she acquired over the past years of her work. She participated in the very first conversion of the property fund to REIT in Thailand, and assisted the listing of newly converted public limited companies on the Stock Exchange of Thailand or the Market for Alternative Investment.

Ms. Palawi has been working closely with the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Security Exchange Commission of Thailand to develop and promote Financial Technology in the country, for example in designing the ecosystem of real estate-backed ICO laws, which have recently been enacted into laws.

For years 2020 and 2021, Ms. Palawi is on the Thailand top 100 lawyers A-list by the Asia Business Law Journal. She recently wrote a few articles for the Journal, given her expertise on the digital asset business in Thailand.

Ms. Palawi is a recommended lawyer voted by clients via The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, and is listed as one of 40 Brilliant Minds and 300 High-Flyers on Prestige Magazine Thailand.
