Career

Avi is a patent agent (US) and Israeli advocate, having earned a reputation for being an avid expert in his field, after acquiring years of professional experience at Elbit Systems.

Avi is a graduate of the Academic Reserve program in the IDF, during which he earned a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Technion – Israeli Institute of Technology (Cum Laude). During his army service, Avi completed an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science (at Tel-Aviv University). After his army service, Avi joined Elbit Systems where he led high value C2 (Command & Control) projects for clients across the globe. Avi’s responsibilities included contracts, engineering, R&D, manufacturing, intellectual property, acquisition and other legal matters.

After ten years at Elbit, Avi studied law and earned his LL.B. After obtaining his law degree, he worked for some of the leading Israeli IP firms as an IP Attorney.

Avi provides his clients with a wide range of IP services from a practical viewpoint, enabling them to design and build a high value patent portfolio. His services include accompanying clients throughout the patent drafting process, beginning with patent strategy planning and continuing throughout the patent registration process, in Israel and worldwide. In addition, Avi provides open source consultation services and intellectual property commercialization services.
