Career

Carlos Andrés Arosemena is a partner at Apolo. He boasts extensive professional experience, which has enabled him to hold high-ranking positions in the public sector, such as General Police Intendant, Secretary-General of the Governorship of the Guayas Province, and Lawyer for the General Comptroller of the State.

A graduate from the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo, he pursued studies at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan, for which he received a JASSO scholarship awarded by the government of that country. Subsequently, he continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Navarra, earning Master’s degrees in Tax Advisory and Access to Law Practice. Additionally, his career has led him to be a Guest Professor in Constitutional Law, and he is also a guest professor in Political Law at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil. He has also served as a training instructor in various courses conducted by the General Comptroller of the State.

For over 10 years, he has been working as a lawyer in the private sector, advising companies with varied economic activities, especially in Customs, Tax, and Investment matters.
