Career
David represents foreign and domestic clients in mergers and acquisitions, complex contracts structuring and negotiation, bankruptcy and restructuring, capital markets, strategic litigation, intellectual property, succession planning and provides advice in a wide range of corporate and commercial issues.
He advises both large companies and startups in diverse markets, like real estate, construction, energy, education and health industry, with special focus on the information technology market. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a lawyer for Cescon, Barrieu law firm and as the Head of Legal of a Swiss multinational IT company for Brazil and other LATAM countries, and thus has a unique knowledge and practice in the IT, digital services, cloud technology and software business.
David has been teaching Corporate Law for almost 10 years at Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos, one of the most prestigious law schools in Brazil.
David is recommended in Legal 500 guide (2021, 2022 and 2023) and in Leaders League guide (2022 and 2023) in Commercial, Corporate and M&A. He is also recognized in Best Lawyers Brazil guide (2021 and 2022) as one of the leading lawyers in Corporate and M&A.
