Teresa is a veteran of the Singapore IP landscape. In a practice spanning more than 40 years, she has accumulated wide experience ranging from enforcement of copyright infringement against music piracy, to challenging cases of trade mark oppositions, invalidations and revocations. Prior to Ghows LLC, she co-founded a prominent IP practice which was a mainstay in the IP industry for over 30 years. She joined Ghows LLC with her IP team in April 2022. 

Teresa particularly enjoys the satisfaction of successfully registering borderline trade marks. She takes a creative and research-based approach to her practice and looks holistically at her client’s goals, market conditions and business climate which inform her arguments and strategies. Clients in her diverse portfolio range from multi-nationals to Singapore SMEs. Some of her notable clients include BMW, Nintendo, Sony, and Möet Hennessy. Her clients value her for her personal attention to all their matters and her in-depth approach to solving problems.
