Prior to becoming an Associate of Stellar Chambers, Ms. Jahan has worked in three other reputed law firms of Bangladesh. Over the span of 3 years of her career, she has accumulated and garnered experience in various legal sector including but not limited to Writ Jurisdiction, Public Interest Litigation, Telecommunication matter, Company matter, Commercial and Contract law, Arbitration matter, Intellectual Property Law, Labour law, Criminal law, NI Act matter etc. Additionally, she had been associated with drafting a regulation to monitor/regulate the OTT (Over-the-Top) platforms in Bangladesh.
Notable engagements:
• Drafting legal documents such as petitions, pleadings, opinions, legal notices, reply to legal notices, arguments, etc. both in English and Bengali.
• Preparing and modifying specimen clauses of legal documents such as contracts, sale deeds, settlement agreements, retainer agreement etc. both in English and Bengali.
• Vetting several legal documents and opinion writing on various legal matters and documents.
• Active participation in researching and drafting Regulation and Guideline on Digital and Social media and OTT Platforms.
• Having expertise on Judicial Review/Administrative Law, Company matter, Commercial and Contract law, Vat and Tax Law, Telecommunication matter, Arbitration matter, Intellectual Property Law, Labour law, Criminal law, NI Act matter etc.
• Attending client meetings to advise them on various laws and jurisdictions and legal courses, and visiting courts.
• Attending meetings and conducting presentations related to Regulation and Guideline on Digital and Social media and OTT Platforms.
• Studying complex legal cases and preparing case studies, documenting cases and research materials.
Moreover, she is a published contributing writer of various national dailies.
