Career
Bong obtained his LLB with Second Class (Upper Division) Honours from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in May 2006. Thereafter, he embarked on his pupillage and read in the chambers of our Teh Meng Teck from June 2006 until March 2007. He was called to the Malaysian Bar on 17th May 2007. Since then, he joined the Firm’s Litigation Department as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate on 1st January 2012. Bong was made a Partner in January 2021.
Bong’s areas of practice in civil litigation include banking disputes, debt collection, bankruptcy and winding up proceedings, contractual disputes and interlocutory reliefs and remedies.

English and Bahasa Malaysia. Conversant in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka and Bidayuh.
Education
