Career

Zhin Theng was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013 and has since had an active practice in commercial and civil disputes, particularly in shareholders’ disputes, contractual disputes, land acquisition and strata management disputes. He has been involved in matters with attendances at all levels in the superior courts.

Zhin Theng’s practice covers a wide area of the law such as:

He speaks at conferences and has presented inter alia the following talks:

    • “Brief legal review on the law of landlord and tenancy” at the Malaysia Property Law Conference 2022

Languages

English and Bahasa Malaysia and conversant in both Mandarin and Cantonese.

Education

Obtained his LLB. (Hons) degree from the University of London (External Programme) in 2010.
Obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2011.

Leisure

He has had the privilege of representing the Malaysian Bar in football and basketball at the annual Malaysia/Singapore Bench and Bar Games.
