Senior Associate

She practises in the Firm’s Litigation Department which deals with a wide variety of issues revolving around company and shareholders’ disputes, complex contractual disputes, insolvency cases, interlocutory reliefs and remedies as well as employment and industrial law matters.

Career

After undergoing the statutory period of pupillage in the Firm under the tutelage of our Mr S Sivaneindiren, she was called to the Malaysian Bar on 16 October 2015 as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya. She was then retained as an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. She was promoted as Senior Associate effective January 2020.

In the 2013 LAWASIA Moot Competition (national level), she was the champion and was in the top 5 at the international mooting competition held in Singapore thereafter. Besides Bahasa Malaysia and English, she is also conversant in Cantonese and Hainanese.

Languages

English and Bahasa Malaysia, conversant in Cantonese and Hainanese.

Education

Obtained her LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 2013. She then obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board in 2014.
