Career
Marjana joined Popovski & Partners Law Firm in January, 2020. Her areas of particular interest include: contract law, corporate law, commercial law, tort law, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
She has participated in numerous educational programs, conferences, workshops and seminars, among which is the advanced study program – “17th International Summer School on Dispute Resolution” (Negotiation, Mediation, Arbitration) organized by Tulane University School of Law and Humboldt University School of Law. She was part of the Vis Moot Team of the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius at the 22nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, and since then Marjana has been volunteering as an arbitrator at the international competition. Prior to joining our law firm, Marjana was the Coordinator of a legal clinical education project “Legal clinic for Vulnerable Groups” at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”. She was also a Program Assistant at the South East European Law Schools Network. Marjana holds an LL.M. degree in civil law and is currently a Ph.D. student in the same field, with a research focus on contract law at the School of Doctoral Studies at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. She is also a certified trainer of the HELP Program (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals) of the Council of Europe.
