Career
Ragy Soliman holds an unparalleled track record in legal, strategic, operational and financial management. With experience which includes senior management positions at both holding and operating companies’ levels. Experience in managing businesses in multiple geographies with a focus on value creation; strategic and operational efficiencies; and sourcing, structuring and executing large M&A transactions across several geographical regions. Mr. Soliman played a pivotal role in the merger of major telecom companies for a total consideration of $25.7 billion to create the world’s sixth largest telecommunications carrier.

• Ability to negotiate complex transactions;
• Executed over 65 equity and debt transactions;
• Participated in raising over $64bn on financing market across the entire capital structure (bank debt, bonds, public equity, private equity…).
Ragy has over 20 years of experience in the legal and telecom field. He served on several boards of London, New York, Egyptian, Milan and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges listed entities among other non-public entities in various jurisdictions including Egypt, United Kingdom, Italy, United Arab Emirates, France, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Algeria, Delaware, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Jersey, Malta, BVI, Cayman Islands and Mauritius.
