Petr Shevtsov concentrates on M&A transactions involving Russia and corporate disputes. Petr’s experience includes advising companies and individuals as well as multinational corporations on various aspects of acquiring businesses and structuring joint ventures, including drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, option agreements and performing due diligence

From 2003 to 2006 Petr was in-house counsel with SeverStal, one of Russia’s leading steelmakers, where he worked on a wide range of transactional matters.

From 2006 to 2008 he was the general counsel of Sveza, one of Russia’s leading plywood and particle board makers. 

From 2008 to 2013 Pert worked for international law firm Jones Day focusing on corporate and M&A.
