Valentin is a recognized expert in corporate law, a practicing criminal lawyer and a specialist in the field of anti-trust regulation.

Among Valentin’s main M&A projects is the establishment and subsequent corporate restructuring of a joint venture between Sukhoi and Alenia Aeronautica SpA in the field of civil aviation – the production and sale of SSJ – 100 aircraft. The most recent experience includes participation in a more than 400 mln. USD sale of KTK — one of the major coal production company in Siberia.

Valentin also provides legal assistance in relation to commercial/corporate activities such as tax avoidance, abuse of authority, fraud and in case of major industrial accidents (explosions, floods, landslips, etc.)

The following are Valentin’s featured projects in antitrust area — representing SAP, EUROCEMENT group and Russian military mountain safeguards in connection with challenge of fines and restrictions imposed by the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service.

Prior to EMPP Valentin has worked 9 years as an associate  in the international law firm Jones Day and local counsel in Severstal  – one of the major Russian steel production company.
