Guillermo joined O’Farrell in 1999 and since 2007 he´s been is a Partner of the Tax Law Department.
His main areas of practice are constitutional tax law and complex tax litigation, with focus on national tax law and local taxes.
Career
In 1996 he worked at Asorey & Navarrine Law Firm and later in M & M Bomchil Law Firm.
In 2002 he was appointed speaker at the Asociacion Argentina de Estudios Fiscales (Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies) during the XXI Jornadas Latinoamericanas de Derecho Tributario organized by ILADT, on “El sistema tributario como instrumento de desarrollo e incentivación: hacia una teoría de la justicia en la no imposición” (“The tax system as a development and incentive tool: towards a theory of Justice in non-taxation”).
He is professor of the Master´s program on Tax Law at the School of Law of the Universidad Austral, of the Master´s program on Tax Law at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) and in the specialization program of Tax Law at the Universidad de Córdoba.
He frequently publishes articles and chapters in books and magazines in the field of tax law and he has been a speaker at courses in Spain (Master en Asesoria Fiscal – Universidad de Navarra) and in Peru (IX Encuentro Nacional Juridico – SUNAT).

Education
He is a lawyer graduated from the Law and Social Sciences School of Universidad de Buenos Aires. He is a Doctor of Law graduated from Universidad de Navarra, Spain. With his PhD thesis “Los beneficios tributarios a la inversión y el empleo en el derecho comparado -España, Italia y Francia”, he obtained the highest grade (outstanding cum laude) in 1996.
He undertook a Major Program in Corporate Law (Programa de Especialización Derecho de Empresa, PEDEM).
