Career

Stuart is a senior lawyer and the Head of our Commercial Litigation and Disputes team in Hull. With a career spanning over twenty years he has developed extensive experience in claims investigation and defence work on behalf of major international clients as well as small to medium-sized businesses.

As head of department he has management responsibility of a large team of lawyers ranging from senior litigators to junior lawyers and paralegals. He oversees complex commercial claims and advising and supporting his clients through the litigation process as well as all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Stuart’s expertise covers a diverse and demanding caseload including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, defamation cases and IP disputes. 

Stuart is known for his thorough approach and ability to quickly adapt and develop expertise in new areas. He prides himself upon being available for his clients and providing sensible and straightforward advice aimed at effectively and efficiently resolving commercial issues.

Qualified 1997, moved on from training in High Street practice to specialist niche litigation firms across northern England and joined rradar in 2013.
