Career

Mr. Jamshaid is an LLM graduate and now an Alumnus of the renowned Cardiff University, a member of the prestigious Russel Group of Universities of United Kingdom. After completing his LLM in International Commercial Law, he returned back to Pakistan where he resumed his practice as an advocate in good standing for the High Courts of Pakistan, which he had placed on hold for a period of one year to obtain his LLM. Once back, he initiated his solo practice and has, since 2016 been responsibly taking care of Client-Interests to the highest professional legal standards.

Formerly, he had worked for a couple years at Ajuris Advocates and Corporate Counsels as an Associate where he was trained and learned the Practice from one of the best Legal minds in the field today. On his return from England&Wales, Mr. Jamshaid’s solo practice had been blooming quite well with his partner Mr. Fazli Qadir until both were offered Partner-roles at ANZ Partners which they accepted thereby merging their law firm, formerly Qadir-Jamshaid Advocates&Counsels (QJAC) with ANZ Partners.
Mr. Jamshaid has had the opportunity to work with some of his senior Colleagues from Lahore to assist them in numerous high-profile cases in and out of Pakistan and has therefore garnered a well-sourced and wide exposure not only locally but internationally as well. He collaborates regularly with a well-reputed firm based in Lahore – in reciprocation – to facilitate each other’s establishments at the two prime cities of Pakistan.

Aside from practicing law, Mr. Jamshaid has been a Visiting Faculty at Bahria University – Islamabad and has been teaching Law of Evidence to the upcoming and promising lot of lawyers. Therefore, Mr. Jamshaid not only practices law but is an avid academician as well who likes to give back to the future bloomers whatever he has so far learned from the profession. He also has a keen interest for arts and is therefore an advocate of various arts-based clientele.

To sum up, Mr. Jamshaid is a seasoned professional legal practitioner as well as one who has a taste for arts and academics and has a very approachable personality.
