Position

Heledd joined St Philips in August 2007 having undertaken pupillage and tenancy at 1 Stanley Place Chambers (formerly Sedan House) in Chester. She is a specialist family law practitioner and is experienced in conducting hearings in the High Court, County Court and Family Proceedings Court. Heledd is experienced in representing parents, local authorities and children in care and adoption proceedings. She has been instructed in complex cases of child abuse, neglect and non-accidental injury. She has represented a significant number of parents with mental health difficulties, in particular learning disabilities. She has previously acted for the Official Solicitor. Heledd is proficient in all types of private law applications including intractable contact and residence disputes, applications to remove children from the jurisdiction and child abduction cases.
