Naomi’s practice primarily covers property, private client and planning. She was appointed to the Attorney General’s Regional Panel (Civil) in 2007 (re-appointed 2010), through which she also receives instructions in Directors’ Disqualification proceedings and judicial review. Naomi’s property practice covers all types of real property disputes, including boundaries and easements, restrictive covenants, mortgages, land registration, rectification, co-ownership disputes, trespass, nuisance and party wall matters. In addition she deals with all types of landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, breach of covenant, service charges, relief from forfeiture and dilapidation claims. She also has significant expertise in business rating. Naomi’s private client practice covers the full range of contentious probate and trust matters, including the construction and validity of wills, duties of executors, the appointment and removal of trustees, claims for family provision, actions for breach of trust in the administration of estates and claims for rectification of wills. She is also widely experienced in Court of Protection matters regarding property and affairs. Naomi’s planning practice includes advice and advocacy on behalf of both developers and local authorities in relation to planning appeals and enforcement appeals, listed buildings, nature conservation and habitats, rights of way, highways, travellers’ rights and compulsory purchase and compensation.
