Michelle Suarez Balois’ practice centers on corporate and commercial transactions, mergers & acquisitions, data privacy-related matters, capital markets transactions, and energy-related matters.

Atty. Balois has extensive experience with joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence reviews, contract review and drafting, legal opinion drafting, corporate housekeeping, government bidding and has rendered various legal services for both domestic and international corporations. She has handled various matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, Philippine Competition Commission and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority. She has also handled cases before the Court of Appeals, Regional Trial Courts and Metropolitan Trial Courts. She is also a trained arbitrator with the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center Inc.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University and finished her Juris Doctor degree at the Ateneo Law School in 2011. While in law school, she had garnered awards in both national and international moot court competitions involving the fields of Public International Law and International Humanitarian Law. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2012 and joined the Firm the same year.

She was admitted into the partnership in January of 2019.
