Career

Tomáš Bardelčík is a partner of RELEVANS. He has been with the firm since its establishment and as of February 2019 has also become its third shareholder.

In RELEVANS, he heads the Litigation Division both professionally and executively.

Before the establishment of RELEVANS, Tomáš already intensively cooperated with its founders and, as an attorney at law, participated in a bank acquisition and in acquisition of other regulated entities and also represented Slovak and foreign clients in the most challenging litigations.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, where in 2013 he successfully completed his post-graduate (PhD.) studies in Business, Financial and Tax Law.

In RELEVANS, Tomáš Bardelčík is engaged in addressing the most significant lawsuits and administrative proceedings, and is not only personally involved, but is also in charge of the management and control of the work of other lawyers dealing with this kind of agenda. Together with Alexander Kadela, he determines the methodological procedures and the manner in which the work of the Litigation Division is performed.

His most important specializations include litigation in commercial law, competition law, administrative law, constitutional law, tax law, labour law, and litigation over personality protection and reputation of legal entities.

RELEVANS Law Firm‘s litigation practice is adept at handling a wide range of disputes, including in the commercial, tax, administrative, finance, and IP spheres. The firm has a strong practice in public law, handling disputes arising from violations of the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural or legal persons. Founding partner Alexander Kadela co-heads the practice with Tomáš Bardelčík  and Slavomír Máčaj; all three are recognised for their expertise in both domestic and cross-border litigation.
