Position

Solicitor. Lee assists clients with Court of Protection matters such as obtaining a Deputyship Order or Statutory Will. In addition, he supervises the firm’s trainee solicitors during their qualifying employment. This includes checking the documents they have drafted, auditing their files and providing feedback.

He further provides niche advice to the team on property issues that arise from time to time, and training on conveyancing matters.

Career

Admitted June 1982

Lee has worked in many areas of law, including criminal, matrimonial, conveyancing, civil litigation, tribunals including advocacy and probate. He has represented clients both in the Queen’s Bench Division and Court of Appeal.

Leisure

Lee enjoys Sudoku, music festivals and live music, and electronic music. He is an Honorary Member of the Round Table and IPC of the Grantham and District 41 Club. He is also a member of Mensa. Lee represented Nottingham at basketball and Nottingham, Leeds, the East Midlands and England at volleyball. He has two grown up daughters.
