Career

Paul King TEP is the founder and CEO of April King Legal and a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). Over the last 25 years he has given over 100 guest talks to groups and organisations as diverse as the British Gas Retirement Association, the Police Federation and the MoD. He spoke at the 2013 London Annual Bar Conference for Barristers in recognition of his work with Public Access Barristers.

In November 2016 he was invited to speak at Legal Futures Conference in London, addressing over 250 leading peers from the Legal Profession including the CEO of CILEx Regulation, the Strategy Director of the Legal Services Board, the Executive Director of Policy at the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the President of the Law Society and the Head of Supervision and Authorisation at the Bar Standards Board. The audience also included key representatives from large solicitors’ organisations and barristers’ chambers across the UK. Paul spoke about the future of law and new ways of working in the legal industry.

Paul has appeared on local radio for the BBC and contributed to articles in both the local and national press, not to mention various legal magazines including Modern Law.
