Geraldo Valentim Neto has extensive experience in Brazilian taxation and tax controversy. He represents Brazilian and foreign companies in complex tax matters at the administrative and judicial levels (Tax Litigation) and advises clients regarding the Brazilian tax impacts on domestic and international (cross-border/foreign trade) transactions, including social security (Tax Consulting).
Geraldo Valentim Neto has more than 20 years of experience in the tax area and has expertise in tax litigation and tax consulting with respect to taxation at the federal, state and municipal levels, customs issues and requests before the competent authorities on tax law matters.
Geraldo Valentim Neto is a lecturer and author of several articles about Brazilian tax issues. He represented Brazil as a speaker in the 68th IFA (International Fiscal Association) Congress in 2014 in Mumbai (India) speaking about recent developments in international taxation and has been appointed by companies as one of the most admired tax lawyers in Brazil.
