Corporate partner based in the Cambridge, London and San Francisco offices of Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP, a leading, full service UK law firm. 

Ross has extensive experience of a variety of mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity capital raisings, general corporate law and corporate governance advice. His experience spans the range on acting for both the largest corporates and institutions on their transformational mergers and IPOs to smaller, strategic investments and acquisitions. Ross also has a keen interest and experience in pre-IPO investments and strategic corporate stakes.

He has worked across a variety of sectors, and has a particular emphasis on the financial and professional services and technology and life sciences industries.

As well as working in leading UK and US firms, Ross has undertaken two secondments to investment banks in London, including recently to the ECM Execution desk at Citigroup, where he provided execution support to the Citi team in their role in several high profile ECM transactions.


Trained at Herbert Smith; qualified in 2004; made partner at Penningtons Manches in 2015.
