Position

A partner in the commercial dispute resolution team, Emma thrives on helping her clients reach pragmatic solutions to their disputes – whether those are commercial or regulatory disputes. In the commercial field, she regularly advises on breach of contract, breach of warranty claims, professional negligence and shareholder disputes resolved through both mediation and litigation.

In the regulatory field, Emma has a particular interest in data protection and FOIA matters, fire, health and safety compliance, and environmental matters. She regularly advises clients facing litigious data subject access requests, internal investigations or interventions from their regulator, and also acts in related civil disputes. She deals with a variety of alcohol and entertainment licensing issues. 

Career

Emma trained at the firm and qualified in 2003.

She is a member of the UK Environmental Lawyers’ Association and the Health and Safety Lawyers’ Association.

Emma read Jurisprudence at Hertford College, Oxford.
