Alfreda is a Partner and specializes in all private UK immigration matters in particular complex Tier 1 Investor, Tier 1 Entrepreneur as well as Sole Representatives applications. She also assists with family cases: spouse/civil/unmarried partner, children and other relatives, ancestry, including indefinite leave to remain for all type of applications, applications for EU nationals, British nationality and citizenship cases. She advises on all aspects of UK Business Immigration Law and assists UK Employers with applications for a sponsor licence and advise on compliance and audits under the Tier 2 and Tier 5 categories.

Career

Trained at the Centre for Community Law, South Africa and Van Rensburg Attorneys in South Africa. Qualified as a South African lawyer in 1999. Worked at Breytenbachs Solicitors in the UK from 2011 to 2005 and qualified in the UK as Solicitor in 2005. Worked at IMPI Group Ltd as Immigration Consultant and commenced employment at Magrath Solicitors as Assistant Solicitor until Magrath 2012, Associate 2012, and Partner since 2015. Publications of note: ‘Reducing Net Migration ….. the impossible dream’, The In-House Lawyer, May 2015.
