The IT team at Franklin recently acted for major corporates on the negotiation of IT procurement contracts with leading technology companies and service providers, while maintaining its strong presence in the telecoms space. A cross-disciplinary team including Jérôme Michel, Julie Catala Marty, Christian Sauer, Kai Völpel  and Magali Masson advised a longstanding client in the telecoms space on a number of matters, including a major restructuring of its media content division, merger filings and a number of asset disposals. On the contentious side, Yann Colin is currently representing one of the main French telecoms players in a range of commercial litigation proceedings, including a high-profile contractual dispute with a well-known competitor. In other highlights, the firm's enviable client base appointed the team to advise on licensing deals, corporate transactions, antitrust compliance and data privacy issues.
