Numa advises struggling companies on heading off financial difficulties, navigating insolvency proceedings and selling their business. Numa’s practice includes the strategic definition and implementation of complex pre-distressed and distressed restructuring and acquisition transactions. He routinely assists struggling French and international businesses and corporations, as well as potential investors looking to expand by acquiring strategic assets or business lines. He also provides representation to groups of creditors and senior management. He is uniquely skilled in liaising with government agencies and local authorities on behalf of his clients.

Franklin launched its practice in January 2020 with the hire of Numa Rengot from Aston who has since wasted no time growing the practice by adding new associates and a second partner in Arnaud Pédron who joined from Deloitte | Taj later that year. The highly dynamic team now handles a large caseload and excels at dealing with atypical matters, managing all types of issues from corporate governance to corporate investment and insolvency proceedings. It is regularly retained by management teams and has strong experience in assisting clients with investing in distressed companies. Franklin a lancé sa pratique en janvier 2020 suite au recrutement de Numa Rengot (ex Aston ) qui n’a pas perdu de temps à développé l’équipe en accueillant la même année plusieurs nouveaux collaborateurs et un deuxième associé en Arnaud Pédron (ex Deloitte | Taj). La très dynamique équipe traite désormais un volant bien rempli de dossiers. La pratique a une appétence particulière dans le traitement des dossiers atypiques, mêlant des problématiques de gouvernance, d’investissement et des procédures collectives. La pratique est régulièrement sollicitée par des équipes dirigeantes et par des clients cherchant à investir dans des entreprises en difficulté. L’équipe est particulièrement active dans le secteur aéronautique où elle a récemment traité un dossier majeur, et a aussi géré un important dossier dans le secteur de la vente.
