Mark Lin is a partner of Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong. He specialises in all kinds of commercial dispute resolution work, with a focus on disputes relating to the corporate and financial services sectors, including regulatory investigations and contentious regulatory work. He is experienced in handling cross-border disputes, including international arbitrations and multi-jurisdiction litigation. Mark is an advocate and has acted as counsel for clients in a number of international arbitrations in Hong Kong, London, Beijing, Singapore and Gothenburg.

Mark Lin and Tim Fletcher head up the practice at Hogan Lovells. The team regularly advises the Greater China legal and compliance teams of Société Générale, covering issues relating to compliance with the new OTC derivatives business regulations, margin finance, scope of licence, registration, and the roles of individual bankers. Clients also include AXA and Chau Chi Yin, the former director of CITIC.

In recent highlights, the team advised¬†China Metal's liquidators in relation to the first ever application to wind up a Hong Kong-listed company on public interest grounds, involving multi-jurisdictional investigations and asset recovery claims. It also successfully represented¬†Chau Chi Yin, a former director of CITIC, in a market misconduct tribunal action, and the¬†Hong Kong Airport Authority in several judicial reviews, one involving matters of public security. Mark Lin¬†is ‚Äėa seasoned litigator.'
