Hogan Lovells‘ global reach and multidisciplinary strengths make it well-positioned to handle a full spread of corporate matters for clients. Led by Jun Wei, who is the chair of the Greater China practice, the team advises on China inbound/outbound and other multijurisdictional deals, as well as domestic M&A, for Chinese and international clients. It is particularly active in sectors such as life sciences and healthcare, energy, TMT, retail and real estate sectors. Tim Fletcher heads up the specialist financial institutions group, which handles corporate transactions and regulatory matters for banking, insurance and fund clients, among others. Stephanie Tang, who is the head of private equity, joined from Shearman & Sterling. Andrew McGinty is also recommended.
At Hogan Lovells, the team is noted for its strong capabilities in handling insurance regulatory matters, and also acts for clients within the fintech space across a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious mandates. Mark Lin and Tim Fletcher are the key contacts.
Tim Fletcher and litigation specialist Mark Lin lead Hogan Lovells‘ insurance team, which has been kept busy handling, among other mandates, domestic and international life insurance portfolio transfers, regulatory matters, and insurance financing transactions.
Although Hogan Lovells lacks a discrete standalone employment offering, it has significant experience across a range of work (including advice on employment contracts, transfer of employees and restrictive covenants), primarily for existing clients of the firm. The team is led by commercial litigator Mark Lin on the contentious front and on the non-contentious side by corporate partner Tim Fletcher.
