Promoted to Counsel in 2016, Chris Somorjay has worked with a number of his institutional investor and pension fund clients for more than 15 years, with a wide practice encompassing portfolio acquisitions and disposals alongside high-profile and trophy asset lettings, with particular focus on the retail and business space sectors. Chris’ key clients include M&G Real Estate, British Land, the City of London Corporation, and the Mars UK and Dutch pension funds. He handles much of the relationship management with the Mars funds, for whom he has directed a number of transaction-based initiatives including “green” leasing. Chris also blogs routinely on real estate taxation issues.
