David Hudd is a former partner and Deputy CEO of Hogan Lovells who is now senior counsel. He is a seasoned capital markets lawyer, having worked on a huge range of deals since the inception of the European structured finance market.
After working at another City firm and spending over nine years in investment banking, David joined Hogan Lovells as its first dedicated capital markets partner in London in 1994 to establish the firm’s structured finance practice. Before his appointment as Deputy CEO in July 2014, David led the firm’s global finance practice.
David has been consistently ranked as a market-leading lawyer for over 25 years. Legal 500 lists David as a leading individual for derivatives and structured products and comments that he “runs an excellent team and stays personally involved.”
