Hogan Lovells International LLP advises clients across the full scope of the insurance industry, with proven capabilities across insurance transactional matters such as Part VII transfers, M&A, and reinsurance transactions in addition to regulatory strengths, particularly with respect to economic and trade sanctions. The insurance team, led by global head of insurance Nicola Evans, has been bolstered by the promotion of Lydia Savill to the partnership in January 2023, bringing her experience in complex insurance and reinsurance mandates. She joins Tim Goggin, who has particular expertise in complex, cross-border Part VII and Brexit-related transfers; Charles Rix, who has an established practice in advising with-profit businesses in their restructurings, M&A, and Part VII transfers; Victor Fornasier, who has substantial experience in handling product design, distribution, and regulation issues for both insurance and reinsurance; and Jonathan Russell, who covers the sweep of cross-border M&A, complex corporate transactions, and group reorganisations. Jamie Rogers brings his notable expertise in financial crime and sanctions, and otherwise advises on the Lloyd’s market.
