Throughout his career Tauhid has advised on all types of structured finance and debt capital market transactions and their related restructurings in a wide range of asset classes, including commercial and residential real estate, infrastructure and social housing, equipment leasing and insurance, and has also acted on debt portfolio sales and related financings, balance sheet management transaction and Solvency II driven transactions. He has advised a variety of key participants on these transactions, including lenders, arrangers, bondholders, originators, funds and swap providers, and has written and spoken widely in respect of securitization and structured finance and related regulatory and market developments.

Hogan Lovells International LLP is known for its partner-led approach to complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions across a wide range of asset classes, as well as its involvement in innovative, market-first deals. It played a part in some of the initial STS transactions in Europe, as well as in the first AAA-rated marketplace lending securitisation at issuance, alongside portfolio sale financings and full capital stack structures. It is widely regarded as a market leader in automotive and lease deals, and is also an active player in mortgage-backed securities and whole business securitisations. James Doyle leads the international debt capital markets group, in which the securitisation practice sits. The lead practitioners are Julian Craughan who has a particular focus on consumer assets including residential, automotive and lease receivable securitisation; ‘helpful and pragmatic adviserTauhid Ijaz who had broad-ranging expertise in securitisation, structured finance and capital markets transactions; and New York-qualified partner Dennis Dillon who focuses primarily on trade receivables deals and commercial paper conduits.
