Richard Goss has a comprehensive cross-border asset finance practice with particular emphasis on aviation finance. He represents operating lessors, operators and financial institutions on a diverse range of multi-jurisdictional transactions, including sale and leasebacks, operating leases, export credit and PDP financings for fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. His experience extends across other financing and restructuring work, including non-aviation assets, trade and commodity finance and general banking. He brings a solution-focused and pragmatic approach, which reflects more than 10 years of experience in the aviation sector. (Next Generation Partners)Led from London by the ‘vastly experienced’ Robert Fugard, and able to leverage significant international resources across the firm’s global network of offices, Hogan Lovells International LLP‘s ‘knowledgeable’ three-partner team’s principal focus remains on aviation work for a varied mix of lenders and borrowers. Mirroring Fugard’s own practice, the scope of the work is wide-ranging, running the gamut from bank and ECA-supported financings, to tax-enhanced mandates and capital markets-related matters, both from a new money as well as a restructuring context. The ‘excellent’ Richard Goss is also a key member of the team, particularly as it pertains to lessor-related work. Outside of the aviation sector, senior consultant Shalini Bhuchar has experience advising on commercial and super yacht financing, while counsel Charles Ford is noted for his rail work.
