Career

Paul Randall continues as a senior member of the firm’s Employee Share Incentives practice, after stepping down as a partner. He has over 30 years of City experience. Over this time, he has advised numerous UK and overseas companies, quoted and unquoted, on the corporate, tax, and regulatory aspects of the design, implementation, and operation of domestic and multi-national employee share plans, employee benefit trusts, and executive remuneration. He has also advised in the context of many corporate transactions, including initial public offerings, takeovers, reverse takeovers, buyouts, capital raising and general mergers and acquisitions.

Paul is a member of the executive committee of Share Plan Lawyers and chairs its Corporate and Regulatory Committee. He is co-author of the chapter on Employee Share Option and Share Incentive Plans in Tolley’s Tax Planning, and a member of the editorial board of Executive Compensation Briefing.
