Career
Megan James is a senior associate in our market-leading corporate trust and agency team within the Debt Capital Markets practice. She acts for trustees, custodians, and other service providers on new money transactions across the full spectrum of debt capital markets products as well as advising on post-issuance amendments, restructurings, and distressed debt situations. .
Megan gained invaluable market experience from the seven months she spent seconded to the Corporate Trust legal team at The Bank of New York Mellon and from a six month secondment to Citibank, N.A., as part of their restructuring team focused on post-closure fiduciary matters. Legal 500 UK (2020) described Megan as “exceptional in her role; her attention to detail and work ethic are excellent.”
