Career

As a very well-known figure in the Spanish tax market, Miguel Angel has headed the Hogan Lovells Madrid tax practice since setting up the office in 2004. Miguel Angel moved out of tax administration in 2004 after a long successful career in which, among others, was the head of the Cabinet office of the Minister of Economy and Finance and Deputy Prime Minister, as well as Director General of Taxation, being responsible for some of the most significant amendments on the Spanish tax legislation and International tax treaties signed by Spain.
