This is complemented by Christian Knütel‘s expertise in the offshore wind sector; he heads the offshore wind competence center in Hamburg and also assists with project developments, including related claim management and disputes. Matthias Hirschmann heads the team and routinely advises on national and international M&A transactions, acquisitions and joint ventures, while Carla Luh is instructed by banks, sponsors, borrowers and investors on related financing issues. Stefan Schröder heads the firm’s global energy transition practice and advises on regulatory law (including hydrogen infrastructure, low-emission and renewable fuels), transactions as well as energy and emissions trading. Counsel Tobias Flasbarth assists with transactions and energy projects and regularly represents clients before the German and European regulatory authorities.
