Career

Peter Huber advises his clients on M&A, venture capital and private equity investments in Germany and abroad. Clients love his “strong analytical skills, clear guidance and skillful deal management”. Peter is instructed for complex, international projects and supports his clients in their strategic business development.

Earlier in his career, Peter was general counsel of a venture capital tech fund. There he gained first-hand VC industry expertise. He exactly knows the challenges in-house lawyers are facing and how he can make the life of his clients easier.

For the last six years, Peter has acted as corporate counsel to FlixMobility, the global transportation platform providing the FlixBus and FlixTrain services. Peter advised Flix on every fundraising, including the latest funding round led by Permira and TCV in August 2019. He also advised Flix on their international roll-out as well as buy-and-build strategy, handling more than 15 add-on acquisitions in 10 jurisdictions.

As lead partner, Peter has managed the worldwide reorganization of Exyte AG (formerly M+W Group), a EUR4bn revenue high-tech construction and engineering business, which included approximately 200 transactions completed over 18 months in 30 countries around the world.
