Career

“Charismatic” lawyer Tobias Faber is a “widely recognised young partner” who has exceptional legal knowledge and outstanding technical ability to answer your legal questions regarding water (including hydro, desalination and wastewater), energy (renewables/conventional) and infrastructure projects with a particular focus on developing countries. He handles the most complex and largest cross border projects effectively in markets such as Germany, the broader EMEA region and Africa. He also advises on Internet of Things (IoT) related projects. Tobias has fantastic insight into current domestic and international infrastructure, construction and energy markets – essential for the success of your projects or dispute resolution.

When acting in contentious matters, Tobias gets “heavily involved” and has the ability to successfully enforce his client’s interests. He regularly acts in court and arbitration proceedings as well as all sorts of out-of-the-court actions (such as workouts and claim management). As a former member of the regional parliament and former head of the administrative council of a municipal enterprise Tobias is sensitized to issues in the public-private environment. Coupled with his “excellent dedication to the client” he is your “Go-To” lawyer. The combination of technical know-how, exceptional legal and negotiating skills as well as his structured strategic thinking makes Tobias stand out.

Tobias completed his studies in Frankfurt and Gießen, supplemented by a study abroad in Cape Town. Since 2008, Tobias has given lectures in “Renewable Energy Finance” at the prestigious Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He is also co-editor of the market leading legal handbook about Industrie 4.0 and IoT.
