Laura is a Managing Associate in the Real Estate and Development team, having joined the firm in October 2014.
Laura advises on all mainstream aspects of commercial property, with a particular focus on investment and development work. On the investment side, Laura has a wide range of experience dealing with acquisitions and sales, as well re-financings, lettings and general property management matters, acting for investors, landlords and banks. Laura’s development work to date has primarily involved mixed-use schemes, advising developers at various stages, from site acquisition to pre-lets.
More recently, she has gained experience acting for corporate occupiers acquiring or relocating to new premises, as well in relation to lease renewals and day-to-day property management issues.
Real Estate & Development
Laura has experience dealing with a wide range of commercial property matters, from acting on sales and acquisitions for institutional clients to advising developers on the purchase of commercial sites for residential conversion. She also deals regularly with all aspects of landlord and tenant work, including drafting and negotiating agreements for lease, 1954 Act lease renewals, licences and deeds of variation.
Recent experience includes representing a large investment fund in connection with the sale of assets in its office and retail portfolio and acting on the disposal of a former printing factory at auction.
Laura has also previously acted for investors and banks on re-financing transactions.
