Matt is a UK and EP qualified patent attorney with seven years experience in private practice.

Having originally studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Matt spent a number of years as a jack of all trades at an automation firm, taking on control panel design and manufacture, software, process engineering, fluid and powder mechanics and commissioning. From here, Matt experienced the power of intellectual property, and began his journey as a patent attorney.

In his patent practice, Matt specialises in Electrical and Electronic systems and equipment as well as heavy machinery, but has enjoyed work over a wide range of technologies, and he has varied experience in telecommunications, software, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, digital signal processing, power circuitry and consumer products.
