Position

Managing partner Kuits, Steve began his career in the firm’s commercial property department and has since stayed involved with the management and structuring of transactions on behalf of a number of the department’s key clients. Steve advises on all aspects of complex real estate work, with a particular emphasis on property holding structures, and debt structuring. He has led teams completing complex transactions valuing well in excess of nine figures, notwithstanding his increased involvement in firm management.

Steve is viewed by clients and associated professionals as possessing one of the most flexible commercial minds in the law. Steve acted on behalf of Meadows Estates 1 Ltd and Meadows Estates 2 Ltd in the acquisition – and funding of – Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre, as well as the £75 million acquisition and funding of Wrexham Centre, and on behalf of Catterick Estates in the acquisition and development of Princess Gate. Steve also acts on behalf of Crewetoll in relation to the settlement of it liabilities of £90 million with Nationwide Building Society and was central to the subsequent structuring and funding of the property holding.
