Types of work undertaken: As the firm grows and matures, its areas of expertise are expanding to meet its clients' wider commercial needs. In addition to its core real estate services, BrookStreet des Roches now advises on planning, construction, intellectual property/brand management, HR and employment, data security and a wide range of associated commercial and corporate services.

The firm's expertise includes all aspects of landlord and tenant matters from acquisition and disposal of leasehold premises to rent reviews, lease renewals and lease end issues. Property investment is a notable area of expertise, including acquisitions and disposals, from business parks to multi-let buildings and from petrol filling stations to industrial centres, as well as management and funding.

Property development clients benefit from the firm's comprehensive understanding of the legal, planning and commercial challenges that are involved, with expertise including land acquisition, sale and disposal, funding, planning and environmental issues, construction and overage agreements.

Portfolio management, particularly in the retail sector, is a specialism and the firm's work includes due diligence, restructuring and estate management team support.
