Louise is a Partner in the Casualty Multi-Track Team (Manchester) at Plexus Law.

Louise qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and has over 25 years’ experience acting for insurance companies, self-insureds and underwriting agencies, managing complex and sensitive liability claims.  She specialises in public liability and employers’ liability claims.  She has a particular interest in “overstated” claims, and claims arising out of the ownership or occupancy of real property, including fire and flood claims.  Louise is also well versed in food manufacturing and food poisoning claims and is regularly instructed to defend claims arising out of single or multiple incidents.  Louise’s wide experience over many years enables her to provide advice which is not only technical, but also tactical and strategic.  Louise is very much a “hands on” lawyer who enjoys running a caseload of interesting and/or valuable cases for her clients.

Louise is a “go to” person for her clients in relation to training and for value added assistance generally.  She is always pleasant, approachable and accommodating, and is known for going the extra mile to get the desired result.  Louise contributes to internal training publications as well as to external client-focused bulletins. She is involved in both interim and external training sessions and found her niche as our “MC” in our very popular Mock Trial events which we run for an array of clients.

Louise is a pleasure to work with and is known for her innovation when it comes to problem solving.
